Oh dear, worst title yet? I think so. Fortunately, there are few words than can describe the beauty of Iceland. So I will let the pictures do the talking.

But here are a few things I learnt about Iceland whilst I was there…

1. Every gift shop plays Bjork. In fact, I was surprised there wasn’t a statue of her in the town square. 2. They don’t have an army. Let’s invade and cash in on the fabulousness! 3. They are massively into equality. There are no titles given to important people and gay marriage is legal. 4. They’re really into reading. 10% of the population (which is only 320,000! That’s less than the borough of London I live in!) will publish a book. And there are more bookshops per sq km than any other city in the world. 5. They eat whale and puffin. Hmmmmm…. 6. Everything runs like clockwork. YES!
